Muzaffarnagar Project

In the immediate aftermath of the Muzaffarnagar Riots in 2013, Sadbhavana Trust worked with those displaced due to the riots, setting up temporary relief camps and providing medical support, education centres for children, and necessities such as warm clothes and blankets. Sadhbhavana Trust then helped lead an initiative to rehabilitate and provide low cost housing with local building techniques to those permanently displaced. The Trust also provided support to families in various other ways, including ensuring children were admitted back into schools, and helping individuals obtain voter ID cards and ration cards.
